Director of Therapy and Training
Adrian "AJ" Rodrigue is a board certified behavior analyst and currently serves as the Director of Therapy and Training. In 2008, Mrs. AJ received her Bachelor's Degree in psychology and sociology from Loyola University New Orleans. She received her Master's degree in behavior analysis from University of Houston - Clear Lake in 2012. In 2007, Mrs. AJ was introduced to behavior analysis and learned how truly effective it could be as an early intervention tool.
As an undergraduate student, she had the opportunity to work with a little boy diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and witnessed how the use of ABA therapy helped him break barriers and succeed, academically and socially. She knew behavior analysis was the field for her and decided this to make it her career. Mrs. AJ trained as a student intern at the Reason for Hope in 2010, prior to graduating from the University of Houston - Clear Lake.
After graduating, she gained experience working in the school setting and serving as a consulting behavior analyst working at other ABA centers and providing in-home therapy and parent training. She returned to The Reason for Hope in 2013 to serve as the Director of Therapy and Training. Mrs. AJ's primary areas of interest are social behavior and play skills, effective data collection systems, and staff training.
Outside of therapy, Mrs. AJ celebrates her time with her husband and two precious kids. She also enjoys coaching Crossfit and being active.
