Founder & Clinical Director

Hellen Adedipe is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has been in working within field of Autism since 2002. She is the founder and clinical director of The Reason For HOPE, which she opened as a solo provider in 2008. She had a vision of building a Christian therapy center that focused on changing the lives of children and their families.  She is grateful that it is now a reality.

After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas in 2004, she attended the University of Houston Clear Lake, where she obtained her Master's degree in Psychology, with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis in 2007. While in graduate school, Ms. Hellen enjoyed early childhood intervention and chose that to be her primary area of interest.   Ms. Hellen has many years of experience teaching children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, in a variety of clinic and in-home environments. 

Ms. Hellen has created, implemented, and supervised programs relating to early childhood intervention, expressive and receptive language development, functional communication training, social skills development, feeding programs, toilet training, cognitive skills, problem behavior reduction, and life skills development.

Teaching toddlers play skills, language development, decreasing problem behaviors, and increasing socially appropriate behaviors are her favorite aspects of therapy. Parent training, teaching parents necessary skills to better help their child and improve their family's overall quality of life, is an area that Ms. Hellen also finds rewarding. 

When not in the office, Ms. Hellen is usually busy running and is a certified Barre instructor.  She also enjoys traveling and learning about other cultures.  Ms. Hellen also enjoys spending time with her best friend, her Maltese, named Cairo.
