Director of Speech and Language Services

Ms. Jaime has more than 10 years of experience as a pediatric speech language pathologist. She specializes in outpatient therapy services. Jaime attended Stephen F. Austin State University, a college nationally known for its teaching programs and emphasis on education.  She received extensive training and experience needed to be an educationally-based speech pathologist.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor's Degree in 2001.

Wanting to explore more about the medical side of the field, Jaime applied to and was accepted at the University of Houston.  She relocated to Houston, home of the Texas Medical Center, where she knew she would acquire the experience needed to be a medically-based speech pathologist.  While a student, she completed internships at two nationally known hospitals, including Texas Children's Hospital. She received her Master's of Art in communication disorders in 2003.

Upon graduating and earning her certificate of clinical competence, she served as a speech therapist in Klein Independent School District and Newton Independent School District.  In 2006, she began providing therapy at Northeast Speech and Language Services, in Humble, and remained there for more than 7 years. Outpatient therapy has become her most favored setting. Ms. Jaime joined our team in 2013 and now serves as our Director of Speech and Language Services.

In 2009, Jaime began training for another aspect of her future.  Her son, and, "co-pilot in life," was born.  He has, to date, been the most rewarding job she has ever tackled, and Jaime is always ready for a challenge.
